Davide Moccia

Master degree in Marine Biology in 2012 and PhD in Marine Ecology in 2016 at the University of Cagliari, focusing on the investigation and study of deep-sea corals assemblages along the Sardinian continental shelf. Post Doc fellow from 2017 to 2021, working with the General Directorate Agency of the Hydrographic District of Sardinia Region (RAS-ADIS) on the implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) in the Sardinian Hydrographic Basin District. Currently, DM is a Researcher at the University of Cagliari (supported by the project PON AIM 2014-2020) working on the research project "Marine Macroalgae for eco-TECHnological applications and marine REStoration [M2TECHRES]" that aims to identify marine macroalgae to be cultivated for human consumption, animal feed, and as a source of high-value by-products.
