EMANUELA QUAQUERO, engineer, Ph.D. in Building Engineering, assistant professor (RTD B) at the University of Cagliari, Department of Civil Engineering, Environmental and Architecture (DICAAR), qualified for the role of associate professor for 08/C1 Architectural design and technological design sector (SSD ICAR 11).

Her scientific production is focused on the specific issues of the SSD ICAR 11 - Building Production, such as digitalization of the construction site, Building Information Modelling (BIM), building process models, project management, knowledge management, and cognitive building.

Since 2008 she has been carrying out research activities in projects of national level (PRIN 2010 e PRIN 2008) and in projects of regional level (POR Sardegna FSE 2014-2020, ricerca di base 2010 e ricerca di base 2008 - L.R. 7 agosto 2007, n. 7 "Promozione della ricerca scientifica e dell’innovazione tecnologica in Sardegna").

Since 2008 she has been teaching at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of Cagliari within four different courses.

She is a member of the editorial board of the series: "Il BIM-Modellazione Informativa per le costruzioni", Ulrico Hoepli, Milan. She also acts as a reviewer for international scientific journals (Data Technologies and Applications  Emerald Publishing ISSN 2514-9288, Urban Science  MDPI  ISSN 2413-8851, Building  MDPI ISSN 2075-5309, Sustainability MDPI ISSN 2071-1050).

Currently, she is a member of the CAV Committee (quality self-evaluation) within the Bachelor Degree of “Scienze dell’Architettura (L17)” and she is also the president of the Teaching Committee within the Master Degree of “Architettura (LM4)”.
