This Regulation fully replaces the one issued with Rector's Decree no. 946 of 5.7.2013 and subsequent amendments, with effect from 14.3.2022.

The provisions contained therein apply to Ph.D. programmes from the academic year 2022/2023. They also find application to  Ph.D. programmes of current cycles at the date of entry into force, when they dictate a more favorable discipline than the provisions of old regulations, and do not involve additional financial charges for the University of Cagliari, as well as financial charges and further training obligations for doctoral students, subject to different ministerial provisions.
