HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR WEIGHTED GRADE AVERAGE

To calculate your weighted grade average, you need to multiply the grade of each exam by the number of credits associtaed to it, add all the products and divide the total result for the overall number of accumulated credits, excluding those for educational activities without grade.

EXAMPLE:

EXAM    GRADE    CREDITS

exam 1     30              10

exam 2     27               6

exam 3     24               4

exam 4     18               3

total number of credits = 23

weighted average = [(30 x 10) + (27 x 6)+ (24 x 4) + (18 x 3)] / 23 = (300 + 162 + 96 + 54) / 23 = 612 / 23 = 26.60

If you hold a degree issued by the University of Cagliari, you can see your weighted average on your personal webpage at: https://unica.esse3.cineca.it/Home.do , by clicking on 'carriera' and then on 'libretto'.
