On July 14 and 15, Campus Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Building M, Room B1. It will be the seminar course Generative Artificial Intelligence and Fundamental Rights_ The Case of Copyright Law.

The course is taught by Prof. Massimo Farina and Dr. Alessia Palladino and aims to explore the intersection between generative artificial intelligence and copyright law, analyzing the legal, ethical, and technological challenges posed by AI-generated content. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of how copyright principles apply to machine-created works, the implications for intellectual property rights holders, and the emerging regulatory frameworks across different jurisdictions.

The course consists of a total of 8 hours over two days. It is primarily intended for PhD students of the DRIEI program. A final oral exam is required for 1 CFR credit.
