The current version of the slides for Internationa Economics can be downloaded from the MS Teams "Materiale didattico" channel (file: "Slides IntEcon 2022.pdf"). In this version I have added a few slides on OFFSHORING (pp. 123-129); and I have moved all the material that will not be part of the exam to the newly created APPENDIX that you'll find at the end of the file. You can ignore this Appendix when preparing for your exam.
The course starts on Tuesday, February 27th at 12:00 pm. Students who plan to attend are advised to register in the MS Teams space dedicated to the course, named 'International Economics IM 2023-24.' To join the team, click the button 'Unisciti a un team' located at the top left of the MS Teams initial page, and use the code 'arbctmc'. Once you are a member of the team, you will gain access to all the information about the course and the format of the final exam, as well as teaching materials such as slides and textbooks.
IE is a 36-hour course. 24 hours will be based on traditional teaching, with me explaining the core models of International Trade theory and practice. 12 hours (or less, depending on how many students take the course) will be available for your own presentations based on a topic chosen from a list I have prepared for you. You are also welcome to propose additional topics not included in my list. More information inside.
