Design of Experiments

Autore dell'avviso: [200/1111] Dottorato in Ingegneria elettronica ed informatica

The course will begin on July 1

---

The Design of Experiments (DOE) course aims to provide doctoral students with the fundamental principles of experimental design. Through a statistical approach, the course teaches how to plan, conduct, and analyze experiments efficiently.

The primary objective is to develop predictive models capable of describing the relationships between input and output variables, optimizing processes, and improving product quality while minimizing the number of experimental trials required and maximizing the information obtained.

Topics covered will include the concept of variability, factorial designs, block experiments, response surface methodology, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The course will provide practical tools for the application of DOE across a wide range of industrial and research contexts, making it relevant to all fields of study represented within the doctoral program.

A final assessment test will be administered at the end of the course.

The course will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on July 1, 3, 6, 8, and 10.
