Language and Ecology: Texts, Methodologies and Approaches
On 31st March, 16-18 CET (Rome time), the online seminar “Language and Ecology: Texts, Methodologies and Approaches” will be held online on Zoom. The event is organised by the University of Cagliari within the LIM (Languages, Imaginaries, Media) seminar series.
Malgorzata Drewniok (University of Lincoln), Jana Pelclová (Masaryk University), and Robert Poole (University of Alabama) will discuss the relations between language and ecology from their different and complementary disciplinary perspectives. Maria Bortoluzzi (University of Udine) will moderate the discussion.
During the seminar, the book “Ecological Stylistics: Ecostylistic Approaches to Discourses of Nature, the Environment and Sustainability” will be launched. The author, Daniela Francesca Virdis (University of Cagliari), will present her research.
