ABSTRACT. The Darboux theory of integrability is well established for polynomial differential systems, and has diverse applications, including qualitative theory. In parallel one can develop Darboux integrability in the local analytic and formal setting. This will be the main part of the talk. The theory of Poincare-Dulac normal forms isn an important tool in this respect, and conversely, considering Darboux first integrals may be applicable to convergence questions for normalizing transformations
