The course will introduce students to effective communication strategies for public speaking through practical individual and group activities. Topics related to verbal, nonverbal, and paraverbal communication will be covered, with a focus on the use of vocality. Expressive reading will also be explored. Finally, PhD students will be guided in planning a speech, preparing supporting materials, and presenting a research topic. Seminars will include classroom, interactive, and laboratory-based teaching.

Teachers: Elisabetta Gola (Professor of Philosophy and theories of language at the University of Cagliari) and Patrizia Mottola (Theatre, radio, film and television actress and teacher of Neuro-linguistic programming).
