A journey to the Cloud with Amazon Web Services

The seminar will take place from 14:00 to 16:00 in Room Q (main building of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture)
Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides on-demand information technology solutions and cloud services with a consumption-based pricing plan. This seminar provides an overview of Cloud Computing by illustrating how AWS capabilities can help organizations with a pay-to-use cost model, optimizing costs through economies of scale and global cloud management experience.
Some of the topics discussed during the seminar will be:
- reference architectures for the realization of applications in Cloud, including the serverless approach.
- DevOps methodology and developer support tools available in AWS
- microservices architectures and containers in AWS
