Veronica Virdis is a research fellow at the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, Philosophy of the University of Cagliari. Under the supervision of Prof. Cristina Cabras, she is currently involved in the project “Factors for the Promotion of Psychological Well-being and Actions aimed at Reducing Discomfort in University Students” for which her research is aimed at identifying the protective and promotional factors of Psychological Well-being together with the risk factors of discomfort in University Students. Actions aimed at reducing and combating discrimination, harassment and violence in relation to gender identity, sexual orientation, and violence against women will be developed through action research. Particular attention will be paid to developing strategies aimed at promoting bystander intervention, prosocial behavior and psychological well-being. The practical implication will be represented by the drafting of guidelines for the promotion of well-being and reducing discrimination in the academic field.
