Silvia Cau, Ph. D., is a research fellow at the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Philosophy at the University of Cagliari. At the Department, and under the supervision of Professor Marta Pellegrini, she is currently involved in the Horizon RIA project titled “Early identification and remediation of literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional difficulties in kindergarten: an examination of the efficacy of a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS-K).” Her research focuses on systematic literature reviews on MTSS in children in the areas of literacy, numeracy, socio-emotional, and behavioral skills. She is also involved in the validation study of questionnaires assessing literacy, numeracy, socio-emotional, and behavioral skills, with a particular focus on 5-6-year-old children in their final year of kindergarten.
