The Internship is a mandatory educational activity required by the degree course in Applied Informatics and Data Analytics, aimed at fostering the relationship between students and the world of work and completing, through practical experiences, the theoretical preparation of normal teaching activities by promoting the learning of professional skills.

This activity is managed by the Employment Relations Committee

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE REQUESTING TO START AN INTERNSHIP?

WHAT STEPS DO I NEED TO TAKE TO START THE INTERNSHIP?

Step 1: Verify that you have completed exams for at least 120 ECTS credits;

Step 2: After this verification, fill out this form in all its parts, to communicate your interest in undertaking the internship;

Step 3: Wait for a response from the Employment Relations Committee. Please be patient for a few days to get the response: the Committee needs time to evaluate your request and choose a company suitable for your profile;

Step 4: Once you have received information from the Employment Relations Committee about the company where you will carry out the internship, you will be contacted by Eng. Raga, on behalf of the Committee, who will manage the procedure. 

 

REMEMBER!

  • The internship lasts 300 hours;
  • The internship accounts for 12 ECTS credits (25 hours = 1 ECTS credit >> 300 hours = 12 ECTS credits), as stipulated in the study plan;
  • The internship must be completed within a maximum of 6 months.
