Abstract
The purpose of this work is to design a conceptual framework that shows the interactions between different types of capital utilized by family firms, as well as to showcase the value of these relationships in achieving sustainability. The different forms of family firm capital (e.g., human, social and financial) are explored through the lens of Sustainable Family Business Theory II to emphasize the potential behind the interactions of these resources in two systems: family and business (Fitzgerald et al., 2010; Stafford et al., 1999; Danes et al., 2008; Aldrich and Cliff, 2003; Montemerlo and Sharma, 2010). A conceptual model is developed while propositions and perspectives for future research are discussed.File | Size | Format | |
