Abstract

This study examines the relationship between frequency of self-reported acted and suffered violent behaviours and life adjustment in a sample of 65 victims of domestic violence. We hypothesize that some static variables (having children) and some dynamic variables (coping, emotional intelligence) can affect the frequency of violence and life adjustment of their victims. A path analysis will be applied to the frequency of violence and life adjustment in relation to the static and dynamics variables above indicated.
