Abstract

The Museum of Me is an application created for the social network Facebook, which has rapidly become one of the most popular museums in the world. The paper aims to put into comparison such museum with the virtual and the “real life” museums, in order to shed light on their affinities and differences, in terms of style, of modalities of display, and of the logic or ideology that dominates them.
