Abstract

The article illustrates the main issues in the application of Athens Convention of 1974 (London Protocol 2002) in the European Union, regarding the liability of the maritime carrier of passengers, and the new Reg. n. 1177/2010 on the rights of maritime passengers during the performance of the contract of carriage.
