Past and future of doctor-patient communication

Abstract

The health of the patient benefits from clear and effective doctor-patient communication since the patient is more likely to follow the doctor’s instructions and experience less stress. The evolution of the communication forms between doctor and patients has been investigated through the Natural Language Process to identify semantic identity, regularities and capture differences over time.
