Abstract

This conference held in Aggius (SS), represented an occasion for meeting and exchange of experiences for scholars and mutual aid operators especially for the participation of Corsica and Belgium thanks to the presence of AIM (Association Internationale de la Mutualite’). It has also been an important occasion to attract young people as their absence has been a major risk factor for the survival of the Mutual Aid Society. The students of The Comprehensive Institute of Aggius have for the first time had the opportunity, to research and present a study on their local Mutual Aid Society also using the documentation found in the social archive. This has been possible thanks to the support of their teachers and the coordination of the Sardinian Mutual aid Societies whose curator of the acts is responsible for the scientific side.
