Cultura e Diplomazia. L’evoluzione del soft power in Europa e negli Stati Uniti
Borzoni, Gianluca
2021-01-01
Abstract
In terms of individual assets but also as an instrument of government action, Culture has traditionally represented a qualifying element of past Diplomacy, while today it is one of the main tools of the so-called soft-power exercised by the actors of the international community. With a perspective of diplomatic history, this essay indicates lines of continuity and caesura, the birth and development of models and organizational structures, in a brief examination through the centuries that shows the inextricability of the relationship between the two terms and the propulsive effects - in terms of dissemination of knowledge - which resulted from it.File | Size | Format | |
