Abstract
Ag oxalate decomposes in Ag nanoparticles and carbon dioxide when compressed during impacts. In this work, we show that decomposition requires minimum impact energy and that the number of Ag nanoparticles, but not their average size, increases as impact energy increases. The number and size of Ag nanoparticles indicate number and size of decomposition sites.File | Size | Format | |
