Un libro “Galeotto” tra Storia di Merlino e Tavola Ritonda
Giulia Murgia
2020-01-01
Abstract
The contribution aims to examine the hypothesis, advanced some time ago, that in the 14th-century Storia di Merlino there could a direct reference to the Tavola Ritonda, assumption that, as it will be shown, doesn’t seem supported by recognisable points of contact between the two texts. The discussion will be conducted on a textual passage which has as its protagonist Prince Galehaut, lord of the Distant Isles, and the reception of the character in the Italian Arthurian production.File | Size | Format | |
