Abstract
The goal of this article is to explain the apparent contradiction that characterizes the representation of Rome for at least two centuries (and today more than ever). On the one hand, it is described as a degraded, dirty, disorganized, ungovernable, inefficient, unproductive space. On the other hand, Rome is one of the most prolific narrative contexts that exists in the world: in literature, in cinema, in TV series, and even in videogames.File | Size | Format | |
