Abstract

A sensorized glove using low voltage Organic Field-Effect Transistors (OFETs) as strain sensors for evaluating finger and wrist movements is reported. A complete characterization of strain sensors is reported. Thanks to the properties of organic electronics in terms of lightness-in-weight, the platform represents a valuable system for non-invasive evaluation of hand motion in real time, thus being effective for different applications such as occupational health and rehabilitation medicine.
