Abstract
The political events inappropriately called "Arab Spring" began precisely in Tunisia in January 2011 and radically changed the institutional, political, social and cultural structure of that country. Today Tunisia, throughout the Arab world, and in particular in the Mediterranean basin, can be considered an interesting workshop for future political dynamics, not only internal but also and above all international, with a strong impact on the Mediterranean context, directly affected by the events of the south bank not only in relation to migration flows, but also for the stability itself at the regional level. The political debate, always alive in Tunisia, is stimulated today by the difficulties and by the urgency of the answers to be provided to an increasingly active civil society. In this context, many Tunisian intellectuals and political militants have elaborated personal reflections using Gramscian categories to interpret their national context. The volume comes from a research project which saw scholars and students of the University of Cagliari and the University of Tunis and Jendouba debating on issues arising from the analysis of the thought of the great Sardinian thinker Antonio Gramsci.File | Size | Format | |
