Abstract

Orientation is considered through the link between the acquisition of professional competences and the push towards self-actualization, which is a major sign of adulthood. It implicates the role of the educator/Mentor; the adequacy of the educational system and of the University; a reflection upon a general ability of the society to be orientating and not merely selective.
