A real world semantics for deterministic dynamical systems with finitely many components

Abstract

This paper shows in detail how it is possible to develop a real world semantics for models (in contrast with the usual possible worlds semantics for languages or theories), in the case of a widely used class of scientific models, namely, deterministic dynamical systems with finitely many components.
