Abstract

This paper deals with Napoleon Bonaparte’s special interest in science, and in particular, in mathematics and geometry. Some theorems about triangles ar e known as “Napoleon’s theorems” though the attribution is questionable. The paper also deals with the close link between Napoleon’s theorem and Fermat’s point. Moreover, Napoleon’s tessellation and some simple applications are investigated.
