Abstract
The paper analyses the archaeological discovering in the last years, that let us know the topographical history of Cagliari between 8th and 11th centuries. Literature tells us that during this period the inhabitants moved towards the Lagoon of Santa Gilla. Archaeological evidence proves that the movement happened, but lasting for several centuries, producing a town “a macchie”, in the meaning of a town with inhabited quarters closed to deserted areas.Items in DSpace are protected by copyright, with all rights reserved, unless otherwise indicated.
