Since 2022 she has been involved as a contracted teacher within the first-level degree in TECHNIQUES FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT.

She taught:

- PRINCIPLES OF CONSTRUCTION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. Modulus taught: Structural Design (2022 - 2023)

- Laboratory of INVESTIGATION, DIAGNOSIS AND MONITORING OF CONSTRUCTION (2024)

2004: PhD in Geoengineering, University of Cagliari
1996: Degree in Civil Engineering, specialization in Structural Engineering, University of Cagliari

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) expert operator - Certified Level  III according to EN ISO 9712 and UNI/PdR 56:2019 in the following Non-Destructive Techniques:

  • Infrared thermography of civil engineering
  • Visual inspection of civil structures and infrastructures 
  • Taking core samples and in situ chemical tests
  • Load testing 
  • Structural health monitoring
  • Determination of ultrasonic pulse velocity
  • Determination of rebound number
  • Electromagnetic covermeter

 

Main research interests

She has been involved in several research projects funded by regional public agencies. She is interested in reliability, structural diagnosis and restoration of existing structures. She is also interested in Non-Destructive Techniques, Sustainability in Construction and Timber Engineering. She is a reviewer for some international journals and scientific associations.
