Born in Cagliari on December 19, 1973, since December 2017 he is associate professor of Energy and Environmental Systems at the Department of Mechanical, Chemical and Materials Engineering of the University of Cagliari. In October 1999 he graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cagliari. He obtained in 2003 the PhD in Mechanical Design with the thesis entitled "Study and optimization of integrated gas turbine plants with recovery processes of oxygenated fossil fuels and decarbonization of reformed fuel", he continued the collaboration with the inside the DIMe.Ca. as a research fellow. In March 2010 he was the winner of a scholarship for young researchers funded by the Sardinian Region. Since December 2010 he was assistant professor n the sector ING-IND / 09 - Systems for Energy and the environment. at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Cagliari.

The main research sectors mainly concern energy and environmental systems, with the participation in various research projects in the field of both conventional and innovative energy systems, headed by the group of Systems for Energy and Environment of the University of Cagliari.
