RESEARCH FIELDS
-Photophysics of advanced nanostructured materials for photonics and optoelectronics:
     a) Halide perovskites and double halide perovskites;
     b) Lanthanide coordination complexes and polymers with organic ligands;
     c) Semiconductor colloidal nanocrystals;
     d) Organic epitaxial nanostructures.
-Nonlinear optics of semiconductors.
-Vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) with semiconductor nanostructures.
-Ultrafast coherent spectroscopy of semiconductor nanostructures and microcavities.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
-Ultrafast optical spectroscopy: photoluminescence and transient absorption.
-Sources: ultrafast solid-state lasers, regenerative amplifiers, optical parametric oscillators, gas lasers, and semiconductor lasers.
-Photodetection techniques: streak cameras, synchronous and balanced detection, photon counting, direct detection using fast photodiodes and digital oscilloscopes.
-Nonlinear optical spectroscopy techniques based on Four-Wave Mixing, optical Kerr effect, sum-frequency generation, and two-photon absorption.
-Cryogenic systems.
-Confocal optical microscopy and atomic force microscopy.
-Modeling of laser emission dynamics and light propagation in planar nanostructures.
-Experience in high-resolution spectroscopy in the far infrared and microwave regions.
