SHORT CV (July2024)

Alessandro Pisano is presently Full Professor of Automatic Control at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (DIEE) in the “ING-INF/04 – AUTOMATICA” scientific sector.

His present research interests pertain to the control, estimation, and diagnosis of uncertain processes. More specific topics include distributed control and optimization over networks. Recent applications include the distributed control of smart grids and the control and estimation of energy production and storage from renewable sources.

A. Pisano is (co)editor/(co)author of 1 book, over 80 peer-reviewed international journal publications, 13 chapters in monographic books, and over 125 papers on international conference proceedings.

He is presently teaching the courses "Automatic Control" (“Controlli Automatici”), "Energy Systems Control" (“Controllo dei Sistemi Energetici”) "Digital Control" (“Controllo Digitale”), and e "Simulation of dynamical systems with Matlab-Simulink" within the mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering and Electronic Engineering Master Degree curricula.

He is Coordinator of the master degree program in "Energy Engineering" as well as Department' Quality Referent for DIEE.
