Emanuela Marrocu is Professor of Econometrics at the Department of Economics and Business, University of Cagliari and researcher of the Centre for North South Economic Research (CRENoS) of the University of Cagliari and the University of Sassari. She attained her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Warwick (United Kingdom) in 2000.

Her main research fields are: Time series econometrics; Spatial econometrics; Regional economics; Knowledge diffusion and innovative performance; Tourism economics.
