Biographical notes

Ph.D. in Statistics from Bocconi University in Milan (2011). Associate professor in Statistics at Department of Business and Economic Sciences at University of Cagliari (since 2020). Assistant professor of Statistics at University of Cagliari (2012-2020). Visiting researcher at the Department of Political Sciences of Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics of University of Rhode Island (USA).

 

Research areas: Bayesian analysis, causal inference, matching and weighting algorithms, combinatorics, history of statistics and probability.

Teaching: Statistics (Bachelor in business sciences); Quantitative Methods for management (Master in International Management). I also give an annual seminar on advanced probabilistic and statistical methods to graduate students. See the personal page for further information.
