Antonio Locci got his Master Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cagliari in 2000 and his PhD in Metallurgical Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in 2003. In 2006 he became Assistant Professor at Università di Cagliari. He has been visiting scholar at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, University of California (Davis, USA) in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Since 2016 he is Associate Professor at the Università di Cagliari. His principal research interests are related to transport phenomena, thermodynamics and kinetics of advanced materials processing. He is coauthor of about 40 papers in refereed journals and 50 presentations at conferences, symposia and seminars.
