CURRENT ACADEMIC POSITION AND MAIN ACTIVITIES

He is Associate Professor of Constitutional Law (SSD IUS/08), with National Scientific Qualification (full professors), at the University of Cagliari, Department of Law.

He teaches Italian and Comparative Constitutional Law and Constitutional Justice in the Degree Course in Law.

He is the Quality Referent of the Department of Law.

He is a member of the Board of Professors of the PhD in Legal Sciences at the University of Cagliari.

He is a member of the Scientific and Technical Organizational Committee of the Master of II level in Multilevel Governance: the integrated management of public policies.

He is enrolled in the register of scientific experts at the Ministry of Education, University and Research.

He is a member of the Italian Association of Constitutionalists and of the Pisa Group Association.

 

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL TITLES

2003: at the end of the IV Academic Year, Degree in Law at the University of Cagliari with vote 110/110 cum laude, discussing a thesis in Constitutional Law entitled "Globalization and Constitution. With particular reference to the constitutional principles in economic matters", Supervisor Prof. Gianmario Demuro.

2004 - 2007: PhD in Constitutional Law, University of Ferrara XIX Cycle, thesis entitled "Confidential communications, manifestations of thought and digital communication technologies", Tutor Prof. Roberto Bin.

2006 - 2012: Research Fellow in Constitutional Law at the Department of Public Law and Social Studies, University of Cagliari.

2007: Habilitation to the practice of Law at the Court of Appeal of Cagliari.

2012 - 2015: Researcher td of type a) at the Department of Law, University of Cagliari, concurring sector 12/C1 - Constitutional Law.

2015 - 2018: Researcher td of type b) (tenure track) at the Department of Law of the University of Cagliari, concurring sector 12/C1 - Constitutional Law.

2018 - 2019: Component of the Coordinating Committee of the School for the Landscape of Sardinia, representing the University of Cagliari (note of the Magnificent Rector of March 8, 2018, prot. 56730, decree no. 2 prot. no. 1462 of April 13, 2018).

July 23, 2018: National Scientific Qualification for the Competitive Sector 12/C1 - Constitutional Law - First band (Full Professors), unanimously.

2018 - present: Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Cagliari, Department of Law.

2019: Full member of the First Subcommittee for the 2019 session of the Bar Examinations at the Court of Appeal of Cagliari.

 

PRIZES AND AWARDS OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE

He has achieved a prize and recognition of national importance for his research activity, being the winner of the IV Competition of the magazine Quaderni costituzionali, published by Il Mulino, on the theme L'impatto della scienza e della tecnica sul diritto e sui diritti, with the essay entitled Comunicazione, manifestazione del pensiero e tecnologie polifunzionali, published in the number 3/2006 with the following final judgment: "[...] The consequentiality in the setting and its coherence with the suggestions of the competition announcement, together with the richness of exemplifications (never an end in itself) and the attention to the positive normative datum, widely justify the victory of the competition. The Commission, in particular, has appreciated the effort to develop a motivated solution to the seemingly insuperable welding between the areas of freedom made subject to examination."
On December 5, 2017, he was declared beneficiary of the Individual Annual Funding of Basic Research Activities (FFABR 2017) - REFERRED TO IN ART. 1, COMMI 295 AND FOLLOWING, OF LAW 11 DECEMBER 2016 N. 232 (OJ n.297 of 21-12-2016 - Ordinary Suppl. n. 57).
