Foreign Language Proficiency Requirement

Doctoral candidates must attain the B2-CEFR level of linguistic proficiency across the four skills in one of the four principal official languages of the E.U. (English, French, Spanish, German, and Italian for foreign PhD candidates). This requirement is fulfilled by leveraging the support of the University Language Centre (CLA - Centro Linguistico di Ateneo).This level of proficiency will be formally recognised only through certification issued either by the CLA itself or by one of the external bodies listed in the MIUR General Directorate Decree (D.G.A. Miur) dated July 12, 2012, prot. AOODGAI/10899.
