Guidance and support for outgoing students from the University of Cagliari and for incoming international students are provided by ISMOKA (International Students Mobility Office Karalis), which handles international mobility for the University of Cagliari.
ISMOKA offers continuous assistance to students and serves as the point of reference for all procedures related to participation in EU and international mobility programs.
Additionally, ISMOKA provides specific support services for students from Maghreb countries (FORMED project) and for political refugee students (UNICA4REFUGEES project), utilizing professional face-to-face linguistic and cultural mediation services to facilitate communication between university staff and the students themselves.
Since 2019, the University of Cagliari has been an integral part of the EDUC (EUROPEAN DIGITAL UNIVERCITY) alliance, whose goal is to establish new transnational partnerships between universities by developing long-term strategic cooperation.
EDUC has created a common academic space (a single large campus) where students, professors/researchers, and technical-administrative staff can collaborate and move (physically or virtually) from one university to another. This is made possible through the removal of administrative, legal, social, cultural, or financial barriers via specific actions within the project.
Within EDUC, a new educational environment has been developed, featuring digital infrastructure and virtual teaching methods, providing students with a variety of international opportunities.
