The Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery is structured as a single-cycle degree lasting six years and access is programmed with a single national ranking test.
Graduates can work as medical surgeons in the various clinical, health and bio-medical roles and areas, they can practise as general practitioners (subject to completion of the three-year specific training course in General Medicine), they can access Specialisation Schools in the various branches of Medicine and Surgery, PhDs and second-level Masters courses, and they can devote themselves to research activities in all sectors of the bio-medical area.
