Are you a Master's or PhD student passionate about sustainable solutions, circular bioeconomy, and addressing global environmental challenges? The EDUC Alliance invites you to participate in the Blended Research Summer School (BRSS) hosted by the University of Cagliari.

About the BRSS

The BRSS, titled "Circular Bioeconomy for Sustainable Waste Management and Resource Recovery", is dedicated to exploring and advancing innovative solutions for sustainable waste management. This program provides a unique opportunity to intersect cutting-edge research, innovation, and practical applications in the field of circular bioeconomy.

The research summer school will take place virtually in from 6 to 17 of May 2024, while the in-person sessions will be held at the University of Cagliari - Campus Engineering from 10 to 14 of June 2024.

The activities, held in English, represent a significant opportunity to acquire advanced research skills, including data analysis and problem-solving, within the context of the circular bioeconomy. Frontal lectures, group activities, networking events, and debates will create a stimulating learning environment. It will also be an opportunity to work and engage with students from partner universities and interact with experts and researchers in the field.

The Summer School will additionally provide the opportunity to collaborate with students from partner universities, interact with experts and researchers of the sector, and participate in practical working sessions. At the end of the activities, participants will prepare a final presentation and receive a certificate recognizing their achievements (3 ECTS). The recognition of the course and its credits will be subject to the evaluations of their University and Degree Program, for which students will need to submit a request following the local procedures.
