By Decree No. 1818/2024 of November 21, 2024, has been published the Call for applications for Research and Innovation small scale collaborative projects (Seed Projects) within the EDUC Alliance.

Project proposals must involve at least two EDUC universities, including one based in a Widening country (Masaryk, Czech Republic; Pécs, Hungary; PNU, Ukraine), and should preferably include other stakeholders from local and regional ecosystems as associated partners.

Proposals should aim to generate a significant impact on green transition, digital transformation, and EU missions—primarily the mission on cancer—while paying particular attention to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Call Information

Project proposals, in English, must be submitted exclusively online via the OpenUp portal. Registration is required, following the instructions available on the Seed Projects page: https://www.educalliance.eu/calls/call-for-seed-projects 

Deadline: January 27, 2025 at 12:00 p.m

Eligible applicants: Professors and researchers holding an active contract at the University of Cagliari until the expected completion date of the submitted project.

Partner Search: Before submitting a proposal, applicants may share their project idea on OpenUp to seek potential collaborators, or search for opportunities to join projects published by other EDUC universities.

Project Implementation Period: June 1, 2025 – December 31, 2026
