The University of Cagliari's service centre for e-learning and technological innovation in didactics, abbreviated as EFIS (acronym from E-learning For didactic Innovation Service centre), organizes the Placement Test in Computer Science for students enrolled in courses of study in which the acquisition of basic computer and telematic skills is specifically envisaged as part of the course of study.

The test consists of a formative verification model of basic IT skills by means of an in-person examination with multiple- choice questionnaires with automatic correction.

Students who pass the Placement Test will have automatically acquired the required credits.

Reserved area of the Computer Science Placement Test

Below is the procedure for accessing the reserved area, where you will find all the information you need to prepare for the test, teaching materials and how to register for the test itself.

Connect to the EFIS teaching platform via the link https://pt.efis.unica.it and log in by entering the same credentials used to access your student page on UniCA/Esse3.

Within 5 working days after your first login, you will be automatically enabled to the reserved area dedicated to the Computer Science Placement Test.

Computer Science Placement Test Calendar

The Computer Science Placement Test announcements are periodically posted and thus available on the University's Appeal Notice Board.

In the test area of the EFIS Learning Platform, however, the complete calendars are available, showing all available dates distributed within the academic year.
