Proficiency examinations may only be taken after the conclusion of the relevant teaching courses and in compliance with any propaedeuticity.
The University's didactic regulations stipulate that the annual number of lectures must not be less than six for each course, with a minimum interval between successive lectures of two weeks.
The Faculty Regulations and, insofar as they are relevant, the Regulations of the individual courses of study, govern the methods of profit assessment aimed at ascertaining the adequate preparation of the students enrolled in the courses of study for the purposes of the continuation of their school career and the acquisition by them of the credits corresponding to the educational activities followed.
For each course of study, the overlapping of courses taught in the same year is avoided. Current students may not take examinations outside the periods dedicated to them.
However, there are additional appointments for out-of-course students and final-year students who have completed their course: at least one in the period between October and December and at least one in the period between March and May.
Examination calendar
Students can view their examinations well in advance. The list is updated in real time as individual lecturers announce the dates of the relevant examinations, so students are encouraged to consult it frequently.
At least two weeks prior to examinations, students can view their reserved dates on the Examination Notice Board only. These dates should be referred to in order to check that no change of date, time or classroom has become necessary.
In order to register for appointments, students must reserve their exams by accessing their personal page in the Esse3 system.
