Rigidity results for compact biconservative hypersurfaces in space forms

Abstract: In this talk, we first present the definition and some basic properties of biconservative submanifolds. Next, we recall some well-known rigidity results for compact hypersurfaces given by Nomizu-Smyth, Cheng-Yau and Li. Further, we present how the biconservativity hypothesis can generalize these classical results.
