The one-week course titled Translation, Interpreting and Subtitling will run 17-21 May and covers a range of subjects including audiovisual translation and subtitling, principles and technologies of translation as well as grammar and pragmatics for translation. The course aims to give students an introduction to the study of translation, interpreting and subtitling at a postgraduate level, as well as introduce them to current important topics in these research areas.
These sessions are completely free to join and students who register will receive a link which will enable them to join the sessions which will be delivered online by Zoom. All students who attend a minimum of four out of the five sessions will receive a certificate of attendance after the course concludes.
