On June 4, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, the event titled “The Island of Longevity: The Challenges of Aging in Sardinia” will be held in Cagliari, at the Conference Hall of the Fondazione di Sardegna (Via San Salvatore da Horta, 2).
The initiative represents an important opportunity for discussion on one of the key issues facing contemporary society: population aging. Sardinia, with its extraordinary longevity, is recognized as a natural laboratory for observing and analyzing this phenomenon.
Through a multidisciplinary debate involving demographers, geriatricians, economists, and public policy experts, the event aims to promote an open and in-depth dialogue, fostering integration between scientific research, healthcare practice, and territorial governance.
