On July 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM, the University of Cagliari will officially inaugurate the Aula Magna SPOL dedicated to Girolamo Sotgiu — a renowned scholar, professor, and prominent figure in Sardinian public and cultural life.
This dedication is a tribute to his civic and intellectual commitment, and to his belief in knowledge as a tool for growth and justice. The ceremony, open to the public, will be held at Via Sant’Ignazio 78, with the participation of academic, institutional, and family representatives. A moment to honor his legacy and to pass on essential values to future generations.
