Abstract
During the academic year 2006-2007 the Faculty of Foreign Literatures and Languages at Cagliari University introduced additional language learning activities on a trial basis, the so-called “Tutorship for Autonomy training for German as a foreign language”. This paper will describe the details of these additional activities in which “absolute beginners” are guided towards developing language learning autonomy and the effects of these activities on the students’ exam results after one year of participating in this project on a regular basis. The paper will also argue that according to this experience extracurricular Autonomy learning activities can be an important contribution in foreign language learning development, especially for students during their first year at University.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
